In 1990 Byron Goggin was hired by a top ten market NBC affiliate as a news editor where he remained for 2 years.  In 1992 he was promoted to “Special Projects Videographer/ Editor” where he filmed and edited Emmy Award winning programs including “Dateline”. In 1995 his job was expanded to include “Commercial Production Director of Photography”, and “Special Project Coordinator”.

 In 2000 Byron accepted the position of “Chief Photographer” at Fox Sports Net.  His duties included overseeing overall quality of “On Air” programming, development of strategies and technical plans for major sporting events including the Stanley Cup playoffs, NCAA playoffs, Ryder Cup, and other NBA, NFL, MLB, and NASCAR events.

In 2002 Byron was promoted to “Technical Manager” and “Special Projects” coordinator where his role was expanded to technical decisions for the entire FOX Sports National network including equipment acquisitions, cost bidding, and installation.

In 2003 Byron was nominated for News Corps. “Global Excellence Award”, an honor given to only a few in the FOX worldwide network.  Between 2002 and 2004 Byron went on to win a win a total of SIX Emmys for his outstanding work in photography,  field production, and program creation. 

In 2005 Byron left his position at FOX to launch BMG Productions.  Since 2005, BMG Productions has achieved National recognition with its high quality programming. BMG’s premier production “Wild Weekend Adventures” is the crown jewel of BMG’s production efforts.  Having been nominated for 9 Emmys and won a total of 7 Emmys in 2006/2007, this program is a reflection of the quality that BMG Productions instills in every production set forth.  Excerpts of the program can be viewed at www.wildweekendtv.com.
