is an outdoor adventure show and travelogue that
features a wealth of activities that people of all
ages can enjoy at destinations throughout the Great
lakes, across the U.S. and Canada.
While most outdoor programs focus on what kind of
fishing lure to use or what kind of gun will bring
down a buck at 200 yards,
Your Next Wild Weekend
takes a unique, more exciting and user-friendly
approach. We uncover stories that encourage
families who don’t typically hunt, fish, or
participate in outdoor activities to try something
new in the outdoor world. We find wild locations
and activities that the average person may not have
known were available to them and present them in a
way that will make the whole family want to get off
the couch, out of the house and into the wild
outdoors.
From kayaking with humpback whales in Alaska to
sailing the Great Lakes in the world famous Port
Huron-to-Mackinac race, from the thrill of charging
around a NASCAR track at 160 mph to exploring sea
caves and shallow-water wrecks in the wilds of Lake
Superior,

is a fast-paced, 30-minute celebration of outdoor
life that takes you to extraordinary places and has
something for everyone in the family.
Yes,
you’ll spot wild, sometimes dangerous animals in
their natural habitat, but you’ll also learn where
to go explore wildlife of all types and what it
takes to enjoy all kinds of outdoor sports,
including parachuting, wakeboarding, paintball, dog
sledding, mountain biking and much more!
About Byron
Goggin
Byron
Goggin is a ten-time Emmy Award winning writer/
producer/ photojournalist who has been creating
outdoor segments for Fox Sports, OLN and ESPN for
over 15 years.
Byron was raised in the rural Upper Peninsula of
Michigan where he spent his childhood exploring the
lakes, streams and woodlands of Michigan. Byron's
quest for wild activities directed him to a
professional career in motorcycle racing where he
won three National Championships. While racing,
Byron toured France with stops in Paris, Lyon, and
Pont De Vaux.
As an honors graduate of Ferris State University his
focus turned to the combination television and his
passion for the outdoors. Credited with the
resurgence of national ATV racing, Byron was
instrumental in bringing quality television exposure
to the racing industry by creating and hosting
segments for Motoworld on ESPN and OLN.
With his wide range of skills, Byron actually puts
the viewer into the action through the use of unique
camera angles and creative storytelling. Without a
doubt, the adventures seen on Wild Weekend will
prompt viewers to seek out the same adventures and
products seen during the show.
