Snocross is todays most popular form of snowmobile racing with its high-flying aerial displays and short-track, which makes it both spectator and television friendly. A Snocross track features tight turns, banked corners and a variety of bumps allowing racers to catch "big air" in full view of spectators.

Snowmobile Racing Links

I 500 Snowmobile Race:   The I-500 Snowmobile race is a 100% volunteer organization, called the I-500 Committee. The track was actually set on an old creek bed of gravel and clay. The site was originally developed in World War II as an ammunition dump. One bunker remains beneath the bridge. This was originally Fort Brady and later Camp Lucas. The track was built in less than six months purely by volunteer help. The first year, the race was so slow that spectators could actually walk across the track between machines

Cadillac Snow Tracks:  If you enjoy snowmobile racing, you won’t want to miss the North American Snowmobile Festival Sno-Cross Races in Cadillac. The winter equivalent to motorcycle racing, competitors will run a manmade course of jumps, moguls, twists and turns. Race classes will be available for anyone over 10 years old. To enter the racing events, call the American Snowmobile Racing Association at (905) 476-7182.

The World Snowmobile Association:  The WSA was created to help racers, manufacturers, and sponsors benefit from the rapidly expanding sport of professional snowmobile racing. Our mission is to bring the sport of snowmobile racing to its highest level. We strive to bring sponsors, racers, manufacturers, fans, and a worldwide television audience the most organized, visible, dedicated, and respected circuit in the industry.

Fun Promotions Inc.  The Michigan Snow X Racing Association (MSXRA est. 1999) is a division of Fun Promotions LLC - we promote & manage a state wide snowmobile Snocross racing series. Our premier event is the US Open Snow X Championships held annually the last weekend of March at Boyne Mountain Resort. MSXRA has classes for the 120cc kid’s machines up to the Pro drivers

Bay Racing:   Some simple rules for Snowmobile racing:  You must be a current Bay Racing Sno-X member. You and your sled must conform and abide by all International Snowmobile Racing (ISR) rules for snocross.

Newberry Snowmobile Racing:   Newberry Michigan invites you to watch the action and thrill of snowmobile racing! Each year we host annual races. Check our Calendar of Events for info on this year's racing events. Exciting, fun, and heart pounding!

ISOC Snowmobile Racing:   Looking to be part of ISOC for the 2008-2009 season? If you're looking to race, sponsor, or just watch your favorite racers please feel free to contact us with anything you need.

Snowmobile Grass Drags:   Grass dragging is a great way to learn about your sled and how to get the most power to the ground. Most beginners can be competitive in the Trail Stock class, where only clutching, gearing, jetting and suspension tuning is allowed. These are registered trail sleds with stock engines. The tracks are stock and only carbide studs allowed, no chisels. Most local club races only require helmets, eye protection, tether cords and leather boots.

Michigan Ice Drag:   MRRSIDR is a racer run non profit LLC based in Michigan. We operate on all volunteer help, coming from either the community or from racers who do it for the love of the sport. The locations we race at plow the track and put up the necessary safety barriers required by both our Insurance Carrier and the DNR. .
